Stone of Grounded Truth
Goshenite is the clear, colorless transparent pure Beryl that was first discovered in Goshen, Hampshire County, Massachusetts, USA. Dr. John Sinkankas tells us that originally the designation included pink and other pale colored beryls (Morganite, Aquamarine, Heliodor), but no trace elements are present in the chemical makeup of Goshenite to impart any color to it at all.
Scientific Gemstone Properties
Mohs Hardness of 7.5 with a hexagonal crystal crystal structure
A low dispersion for this gem may contribute to the infrequent use of it as a desired gem, even despite the excellent hardness, and resistance to corrosive substances.
Goshenite is found worldwide. And it occurs in such large quantities, that often inclusions in Goshenite are rarely tolerated when using for gem purposes.
Since the 1st century A.D., the good qualities of colorless Beryl have made it an ideal substitute for other colorless gemstones. Silver or green foil is often placed behind the faceted colorless Beryl and mounted in a closed setting to create imitations of diamonds and emeralds. Doublets and triplets are constructed by “sandwiching” sections with colored cement or a thin slice of a synthetic or natural gemstone are used to simulate other valuable gems. The slice of natural gemstone could contain inclusions specific to the imitated gem. bezel mounts hide the junctures at the girdles of such creations and make the substitution difficult to detect.

Candle Color: White
Beryl has been worn to prevent fascination, or what would today be called deliberate psychic manipulation, such as practiced by evangelists, crooked salespersons and politicians. This is also called being tagged or corded, when an individual attaches an astral line to your astral body, generally through the solar plexus (3rd) chakra. Through this cord they may be able to drain your energy and even manipulate your actions if they possess enough strength.
If this happens, tape a small piece of tumbled beryl over the navel and leave in place for as long as it takes to break the cording, generally a full 24 hours.
Zodiac Gemstone Properties
Zodiac Stone of: Gemini
Birthstone: Not a birthstone for any month
Chakra Gemstone Properties
Goshenite uses the chakras to expand it’s own energy throughout one’s physical body. As a result, all chakras are cleared, aligned, and expanded. This will enhance one’s own ability to take more of the corresponding color rays of the chakras into oneself.
With this increased flow of energy from higher planes, the being is purified on many levels, introducing a higher vibration throughout, increasing the capacities of sustaining additional light. The more light one is able to retain, the closer one functions as the pure essence of being that we are meant to.
In doing so, the Kundalini Energy is also activated!
