Love Me Tender - Shimmerlings Creative Courage Challenge

I’ve been trying to put together a gift package….I’m not sure what to call it, and I’m not sure people will necessarily be interested.  I know that I have had a few requests for it, and I wanted to give it a shot!

Shimmerlings Gift Ideas, Love Me Tender, Forget Me Not, a Year of LoveI would like to create a “program” to help people to remember giving gifts throughout the year without having to hurry at the last moment because life has once again gotten in the way.

I thought perhaps a series of six gifts throughout the year… Birthday, Valentines Day, Christmas/Holiday, Sweetest Day, Anniversary, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day or any other significant date.  Someone places an order, we keep track of the dates, and we send out gifts in plenty of time to arrive for the special occasion!  Different packages would be offered, perhaps all earrings, or all bracelets, all necklaces, a mix of each….a few “levels” of offers: Step 1, Step 2, Step 3….yes I need to think of names for those!

Shimmerlings Gift Ideas, Love Me Tender, Forget Me Not, a Year of LoveThere might be different styles offered, say a “Classic” Selection, or a “Boho” Selection or perhaps an “Teen” Selection….lots of variables to take into account I suppose, but I have heard from so many people how they have forgotten quite by accident. There are folks that call and run to the studio for a quick gift, I wrap it up for them and they are ready to go…so I thought what if they could remember a whole year of special dates with one order being placed?

Is that too much trust to ask of a customer? Trusting that we will in fact send out the gifts? Should the gift be paid all up front, or the payment only charged as each gift is sent?  There could be a nice cost break for ordering the package…but then do I charge shipping?  I’ve got a lot of questions, I am going to work it out, but any suggestions or idea would be greatly appreciated.  Anything you might think of that you would personally like that type of service to include….oh, completely forgot about gift notes! There’s that too!!

Shimmerlings Gift Ideas, Love Me Tender, Forget Me Not, a Year of LoveWhat would I call this service? I have had suggestions: Love Me Tender, Forget Me Not, Love Me Long Time (although I am not certain that is the message I would like to send! LOL) A Year of Love, The Gifter….yes, they get worse after that!  So again, open to any suggestions, ideas, thoughts or solutions.  This is a program that I would like to institute as soon as possible!! We shall see how it goes.

I bought a “Love Me Tender” package which automatically sends a gift several times a year on the important days….so I never “forget”! Fantastic service!
